TBT is testing what it believes to be one of the more innovative and highly accurate solutions to rapid Covid-19 testing. The Company has developed a point of care, rapid, easy to use sensor that will detect COVID-19 from a cheek swab, giving an answer in under 10 minutes. Additionally, TBT is developing an antibody test to detect whether a person has been exposed to the virus. TBT will be issuing data on this website along with press releases shortly regarding this exciting work.
TBT biosensing applications include:

TBT’S Groundbreaking Biosensors Include:
- Rapid, highly accurate, real-time results vs. the typical 2-5 days incubation time current standard detection methodologies require, without the need for fluorescing molecules (label free).
- Significantly higher sensitivity – up to 100 times more than commercial ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay, a plate-based assay technique designed for detecting and quantifying soluable substances) test kits. TBT’s biosensors can detect bacteria and pathogens in water and biological solutions in the order of picograms/ml.
- Instant, on-site use – TBT’s biosensor systems can be designed into a portable, hand-held unit with disposable components.
